18th Annual Bike Ride
The Giant Steps Bike Ride is an annual event to raise money for Giant Steps Sydney and Giant Steps Melbourne.

This year’s ride will take place on Friday 22 November to Saturday 23 November in the Gippsland region. Approximately 30 cyclists of varying abilities will challenge themselves as they take on an Olympic training course through the beautiful Victorian countryside. Rob Crowe, 2-time Olympian and champion Australian road cyclist, will accompany the cyclists providing expert advice, support, and motivation. The routes will cover over 100kms on both Friday and Saturday with a short ride on Sunday morning.

Over 18 years we have raised over $4 million. This year our target is $200,000 for Giant Steps.
The money raised from the bike rides has enabled Giant Steps to erect playgrounds, convert a derelict building into a library and continue to improve the services provided to students and their families. It also facilitated the establishment of a post-school program and an extension to the Early Learning Building. The Llewellyn-Jones Medical Clinic was founded by a donor who is affiliated with the bike ride. Davina Bate will update us on the wonderful new building for the Melbourne school.

The 18th Annual Giant Steps Bike Ride through picturesque Gippsland was a resounding success! Riders from Sydney and Melbourne took on the challenging 250-kilometre course, united in their pursuit to raise funds for both schools.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the riders and donors who have helped raise $221,000 for Giant Steps this year – an astonishing achievement!
